MEDICAL-LEGAL EVALUATIONS

This is a service that should be aranged by your legal counsel. We have experience in medical-legal evaluations for both psychiatric evaluation, and for sleep medicine evaluations. Dr. Appleton is board certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, and can provide an Independent Medical Evaluation (IME), or act as an expert witness in legal cases. These most commonly include people that have been involved in motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, and people that have significant impairment despite not having signficant findings on radiological studies. (Examples: Disability secondary to chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, pain issues after accidents, poor sleep after accidents).
